Katie Chappell has been involved with music and theater for most of her life. She was a long-time member of the Herndon Towne Square Singers and has performed in several musical theater productions in the Northern Virginia area, including “South Pacific,” “Sound of Music,” and “Carousel.” She also lends her talents to many sets and costumes for musical theatre.

Katie is one of the initial choir members of the Rising Phoenix Performers and has designed several stage sets for the shows at the Herndon Senior Center. She also lends her wonderful soprano voice to the choir’s singalong group, which provides entertainment at area senior centers, memory care units, and rehab facilities.
